A Winter Wedding at Ashton Gardens North | Houston | Lexi + Paul

Lexi + Paul are such an amazing couple! You can tell that they are crazy about each other. These two know how to light up a room. They are so full of joy that it’s contagious to anyone who has the honor of being around them. We knew from their engagement session that their wedding would be an amazing day full of love and laughter. They are so incredibly lucky that they each found their person in the other and that they get to marry their best friend!

Lexi had a gorgeous long veil and an amazing transforming dress. Her beautiful lace sleeves came off during the reception to allow for dancing, and it was awesome! Their wedding featured deep navy, black, and cream. They also had a few Star Wars touches, including light sabers and a life size R2-D2!

Their ceremony was personalized with quotes from Star Wars and Friends, and their wedding vows to each other were heartfelt and sincere. They both talked about choosing each other and how is was an easy decision. Lexi wrote, “Choosing you was the easiest decision I have ever made. I promise to continue choosing you for the rest of our lives.” And Paul wrote, “People keep asking me if I’m nervous or if I’m getting cold feet, and I always tell them absolutely not. I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life, because I’m marrying my best friend.” Everyone had tears in their eyes, myself included!

As if their wedding couldn’t get any better, their reception was just as amazing as the rest of the wedding day. Lexi + Paul danced to My Person by Spencer Crandall and that song is so perfect and truly captures them as a couple! And later when Lexi danced with her dad, their song faded into In The End by Linkin Park, which was awesome! Their friends were on the dance floor all night, and Paul even had a light saber battle with one of his friends. They shared a private last dance before exiting to sparklers and light sabers. These two are seriously the best, and we absolutely love them!
