Held right in the heart of Houston, this wedding was like stepping into a blooming fairytale. The calm spring weather and the natural beauty of the garden venue created the most magical atmosphere for their intimate celebration.

Personal Touches

What made this River Oaks Garden Club wedding truly special were the personal touches that reflected who Karsen and Cameron are as a couple. One of our favorite moments was their private first look and vow exchange. It was intimate, meaningful, and incredibly emotional to witness. The couple also incorporated butterfly details throughout their day. For example, soft butterfly accents were in Karsen’s hair, a delicate butterfly design was on the menu, and the most whimsical butterfly cake. Every element tied back to nature and added a subtle, magical feel to their celebration.

Karsen and Cameron fell in love with the garden vibes of the River Oaks Garden Club, and honestly, so did we! This historic venue in Houston is filled with lush greenery, peaceful pathways, and elegant floral backdrops that made every part of the day feel timeless and serene. By choosing to host both their ceremony and reception at the same venue, the day flowed effortlessly. And so the venue’s natural charm fit their vision of a relaxed, intimate gathering perfectly.

Their color palette was soft and elegant featuring light pinks, fresh greens, and neutral tones that blended beautifully with the venue’s blooming gardens. Therefore, it was the perfect choice for a garden wedding in spring. Karsen looked absolutely stunning in her one-shoulder wedding gown with her hair tied back and adorned with delicate butterfly details. She was glowing. And Cameron’s emotional reaction when he saw her for the first time? Total tearjerker moment. Therefore, there wasn’t a dry eye in the garden.

We’re so grateful Karsen and Cameron found us through their incredible planners, Mari & Jess Designs. They made the day run so smoothly. From the very first conversation, we knew this would be a wedding we’d always remember. Being part of their River Oaks Garden Club wedding was such an honor. The day was peaceful, filled with joy, and radiated everything we love about capturing love stories.

The floral design was simply breathtaking. The florals were made up of soft, organic arrangements that enhanced the natural garden setting without overpowering it. The cake was a showstopper decorated with subtle butterfly accents that looked like they came straight from the garden. Every detail felt intentional and delicate from the butterfly detail on the menus to the peaceful ambiance of the reception space. Karsen and Cameron’s love for each other and for nature shone through in everything.
