Set in the heart of Anahuac, Texas, this hot summer day brought warm breezes, romantic textures, and a party that we’ll never forget. From pampas grass accents to their children walking down the aisle, every moment felt personal and intentional—and we were so honored to be a part of it!

Getting Ready with the Bride

The day began in the beautiful bridal suite at the Magnolia Grove wedding venue, where Sarah slipped into her absolutely stunning wedding dress. Her bridal look was completed with a removable train that gave her both a dramatic ceremony entrance and an easygoing reception look. Her hair was styled in soft waves, giving us total Old Hollywood glam vibes. The bridesmaids wore dreamy champagne dresses that and perfectly complemented the summer tones of the day. Meanwhile, Justin and his groomsmen kept things effortlessly cool in shades of khaki. They were laid-back but totally sharp.

Anticipated First Look

Next, we moved into one of the most emotional parts of the day: Sarah and Justin’s first look. Justin stood in front of the venue’s stunning fireplace, waiting just for her. The moment Sarah approached him, you could feel the anticipation in the air. The look on Justin’s face when he turned around and saw Sarah? Complete joy. You could feel the nerves melt away as they took in those first few quiet moments together, just the two of them, before the whirlwind of the ceremony began.

We took full advantage of the show stopping fireplace at the Magnolia Grove wedding venue. The boho color palette of champagne, tan, and khaki popped so beautifully against the natural backdrop. There was so much laughter and fun that you could tell this was a tight-knit group who had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Their ceremony was held in front of the fireplace, and it was straight out of a dream. Pampas grass lined the aisle, and added that textured, boho feel that made everything feel cozy and romantic. One of the most touching parts? Sarah and Justin’s children served as flower girl and ring bearer. Watching them walk down the aisle melted every heart there. The ceremony was full of joy and full of love. And at the end of the ceremony, they shared an epic first kiss while cold spark fireworks went off behind them.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom posed for a few photos with their children. Afterward we photographed the couple alone. Their style and love radiated romance and sophistication. In fact, it was easy to see their connection.

The space was transitioned from a gorgeous ceremony in front of the beautiful fireplace to a dreamy reception space. The reception at the Magnolia Grove wedding venue was a fun and energetic party filled with laughter, music, and the most unforgettable first dance. Sarah and Justin shared their first dance surrounded by a cloud—literally! Dry ice created a dreamy, floating fog that gave everyone chills. It was a straight-up fairytale moment. From heartfelt toasts to non-stop dancing, their reception was everything you want in a summer wedding: laid-back, joyful, and filled with love.
