Haley and Cody are the absolute sweetest! And their fall engagement session was filled with warm colors, golden light, and two very cute dogs who may or may not have stolen the spotlight a few times.

We truly can’t wait for their wedding at The Carriage House later this year. If it’s anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be full of joy and so much love.

Rich Colors for Cozy Fall Engagement Session

For their cozy fall engagement session, they leaned into rich, seasonal tones. And it photographed beautifully. Cody wore a deep purple, which added such a bold, romantic feel against the fall greenery. Haley paired a soft cream sweater with her look, and the contrast was absolutely perfect.

Cream always photographs so beautifully in natural light, and paired with deeper tones, it creates that warm fall look without feeling overly styled.

Fall Engagement Session: Trusting the Process

One of our favorite moments from their session was when we spotted a dreamy pocket of tall grass and asked if they’d be willing to step into it.

Without hesitation, they said yes. And it created some of our favorite images from the entire session.

The tall plants surrounding them, the golden fall light wrapping around their deep colors, and the way they snuggled up together made for such epic, romantic photos.

Sometimes the magic happens when you’re willing to step off the path just a little. And they absolutely trusted us.

Counting Down to Their Wedding Day

Haley and Cody’s cozy fall engagement session was amazing. They laughed easily, held each other close, and made our job so easy.

We are already counting down to celebrating with them at The Carriage House. It’s going to be such a beautiful day, and getting to document both their engagement and wedding season is such an honor.
