Katrina & Matt’s wedding day was one we’ll be thinking about for a long time. These two are so kind-hearted and full of love. Their spring wedding at Venue 311 in Plantersville, TX was a beautiful blend of romance and heartfelt emotion. Therefore, making the day truly unforgettable.
Getting Ready at Venue 311
The day began at Venue 311, where the bridal suite was buzzing with excitement and happy energy. Katrina was surrounded by her closest friends, all in light mint green dresses that looked so dreamy against the soft spring light. She wore her hair up with a delicate hairpiece and a long veil that added a gorgeous elegant touch to her bridal look.
Meanwhile, Matt was getting ready just down the hall. He wore a classic, dark grey suit that made him stand out effortlessly from his groomsmen who wore light grey. The color palette was made up of pinks and oranges. Therefore, making it the perfect choice to celebrate the season. It added such a fresh, vibrant pop to the entire aesthetic.
The First Look
One of the most emotional moments of the day happened before the ceremony when Katrina & Matt’s shared their first look. These two chose to share this private moment together, and it was incredibly moving. As soon as Matt turned around and saw Katrina, his eyes filled with tears. And hers did too. They held each other and just took in the moment. It was intimate, honest, and a perfect reflection of their love.
Wedding Party Vibes
Let’s just say this wedding party brought the joy! The bridesmaids in mint green and the groomsmen in grey made for such a timeless and fresh combo, especially with the colorful florals tying everything together. From the portraits to the pre-ceremony laughs, this crew was the best. So supportive, so fun, and so full of love for Katrina & Matt.
Wedding Ceremony at Venue 311
The ceremony took place inside the chapel at Venue 311, and it was a dream! The elegant, romantic atmosphere of the venue made for the perfect setting as Katrina walked down the aisle with tears in her eyes and Matt beamed from ear to ear. They exchanged vows surrounded by their family and closest friends, and you could feel the emotion in the room. These two didn’t just come to get married; they came to begin a life together. Thus it was felt in every moment.
Bride + Groom Portraits
After the ceremony, we snuck away for some couple’s portraits. Even though it was unexpectedly cold for a spring day, these two were absolute troopers. Matt kept wrapping his arms around Katrina to keep her warm, and it was honestly one of the sweetest things we’ve ever captured. That warmth between them, even in the cold, was so symbolic of their relationship.
We took full advantage of the beautiful grounds at Venue 311, and the result? Pure magic. The way Katrina’s veil blew in the breeze, the pops of color from the florals, and the soft light filtering through the clouds: perfection!

The reception was held inside the stunning hall at Venue 311, and it was the perfect mix of elegance and celebration. Guests celebrated this sweet couple in a space filled with bright florals, glowing candles, and heartfelt toasts. Katrina & Matt’s friends and family were so kind and welcoming. It felt more like a gathering of friends than a formal event. Every detail, from the table settings to the playlist, reflected the joy and love these two share.
